The BBC is reporting that Lauren Booth, the left wing human rights busy-body activist and sister to Cherie, wife of the former ex, redundant, pushed out British Prime Minister Tony Blair, has said she is being prevented from leaving Gaza.

Ms Booth arrived in the Gaza Strip on a “peace boat” to publicise Israel's blockade of the Palestinian territory, but when the boats returned to Cyprus, Ms Booth and a few other activists decided to remain in Gaza..

But she said the Egyptian and Israeli authorities had prevented her from leaving Gaza three times, once by the Israeli authorities through the Erez crossing and twice by the Egyptians via Rafah.

She said she was missing her two children who kept asking her, “Mummy, why can't you come home? Have you done anything wrong?”

Well Yes actually. Essentially it goes like this. If you want to push your nose into the internal affairs of other countries, don't bloody complain when you cant throw your busy-body weight about.

They are not preventing you from leaving Gaza, they are just saying they are under no obligation to let you use those crossings, you didn't go into Gaza that way.. I certainly don't blame the Egyptian and Israeli authorities for not wanting you on their soil causing more trouble.

You had a chance to leave on the same boat you arrived on, but instead decided to stay on to stir a bit more shite, so, you got yourself in, get yourself out.

No sympathy here….and I certainly don't expect any British taxpayer money being spent getting you out either. Maybe brother-in-law will help you out eh.

A phrase your Dad would recognise springs to mind….Silly Moo

Rob at the Broadsheet Rag saw this report in his local paper about TORY run Hertfordshire County Council's new Allegations Management System.

A ground-breaking computer
system that stores and monitors allegations made against adults working
with children has been created by Hertfordshire County Council.

The county's child protection
unit and information systems team have pooled their knowledge and
experience to design the Allegations Management System (AMS) to
streamline the way information is collated and recorded.

Launched earlier this year, AMS
is already attracting interest from other local authorities keen to
replicate the system themselves.

So as soon as someone makes an allegation against you, you're on the system. No proof needed.

What happens if the
allegations are investigated and you are cleared?  The online
article doesn't say but, according to Rob, the printed
version contained this little gem:

But allegations found to be false will stay on the system for ten years and are free to be read by future employers.

If you have a grudge
against someone, all you need to do make up a child abuse story then
drop a line to the council. Bingo! Your enemy is on the database for
ten years.

And don't kid yourself
that this system only covers Hertfordshire. Today's local authorities are as keen to make money as anyone else. Hertfordshire plans to flog the system to other councils around the
country.

As the old saying goes, mud sticks. Now councils have a database to make sure that it sticks for at long as they want it to.

Lets be very clear about this. This database is simply about collecting hear-say and conjecture. Not facts — just whatever happens to be said about someone. That is 100% STASI.

Where is the legal base for such a database? Where are the controls? Appeals process?

Hertfordshire County Council is a TORY run council. Still believe that Tories have your best interest at heart, or that a Libertarian agenda is best served by Tories?

But, There IS another way!

The Libertarian
Party will put an end to this Politics of Fear, make such databases illegal and repeal many of these draconian laws enacted over the past 10
years.

Nanny Knows Best tells us that Nanny's special chum, Jacqui Smith (Home Orifice Home Economics
teacher), has played the old politicians' trick of “leaking” a memo;
the memo forewarns of strife and chaos, as the recession bites ever
deeper.

In summary the Home Orifice believes that crime will
rise, and the “disenfranchised” would be tempted to join terrorist
organisations.

Why would the Home Orifice leak such a memo?

How
can such a dire vision of the future be helpful to “Smiler” Brown and
his “administration” (the word “administration” usually implies some
form of competence, not in this government's case)?

The answer is simple:

FEAR!

Governments
know that if the population is fearful of an enemy (be it another
country, organisation or “the enemy within”), then the population will
be more compliant and malleable.

Additionally, it will give
Nanny the opportunity to impose more surveillance and more restrictive
laws/rules upon the population.

As to the assertion that the recession will drive more people to terrorism, that is palpable bollocks.

This did not happen in the slump of the 1930's or the recessions of the 1970's, 80's and early 90's.

Why should it happen now? This is simply the Politics of Fear. She has to use fear to justify building her Stasi style policing.

It a tried and tested method used by many authoritarian regimes in the past.

But, There IS another way!

The Libertarian
Party will put an end to this Politics of Fear and repeal many of these draconian laws enacted over the past 10
years.
