Here we go again. Another scam for raising more tax from already hard pressed over taxed Britons.

Tim Yeo, the Tory Chairman of The Environmental Audit Committee has suggested that Government introduce Personal 'Carbon Credits'.

The fact that the Global and European Carbon Credit scam has already been widely debunked has escaped Mr Yeo, who suggests "Further work is needed before personal carbon trading can be a viable policy option and this must be started urgently, and in earnest".

So there we have the rub, its not about saving the planet, its not about cutting Carbon emissions, its about a trading scheme. Nor is it designed to replace things like fuel duty, but a government enforced scheme on top of the other taxes.

Mr Yeo goes on. He said it could be administered by the private sector, following the model of supermarket loyalty schemes in which a complex computer system is accessed by a "single plastic card".

Ah, So it will be a private trading scheme, enforced by government, with ever more use of plastic cards (and the betting is he really means the ID Card which his party have already pledged to scrap, but government is putting out to the private sector to administer)

But Mr Benn said there were problems with the plan: "It's got potential but, in essence, it's ahead of its time, the cost of implementing it would be quite high, and there are a lot of practical problems to overcome."

Not least is that it wont work until everyone has been forced to have an ID Card eh?

If ever there was an example of how Tory policy makers are furthering the cause of the Corporist Authoritarian state, this has to be one of them.

And finally, from the moonbat Environmentalist George Monbiot who applauded the scheme.

See, even Monbiot understands it has nothing to do with 'saving the planet', its about wealth redistribution, in other words, robbing the poorer in society to line the pockets of the Traders who will run these schemes.

We only have to see how Al Gore is raking it with his Carbon Trading company and the corruption on international markets to understand what it is all really about.

I shall over the next few weeks be looking at these members interests, and will highlight any that have vested interests either in Carbon Trading companies, companies that are bidding for ID Cards or any other kind of Card schemes, Environmental companies or Government funded green lobby groups.

Mr Yeo, the people have had enough of this kind of garbage, and we want our country back, free from the oft corrupt interference of MP's telling us everything is 'for our own good'.






All three parties are thoroughly authoritarian and paternalistic, and all three parties are beholden to corporate interests and to the European Union. This is but one example of the contempt the political class that currently dominates Westminster has for the people. It's certainly not going to be the last. There has to be a better way.
