This story is just the final straw for me.

Routine journeys carried out by millions of British motorists can be
monitored by authorities in the United States and other enforcement
agencies across the world under anti-terrorism rules introduced
discreetly by Jacqui Smith.

A statement by Miss Smith to Parliament on July 17,
2007, detailing the exemptions for police from the 1998 Data Protection
Act, did not mention other changes that would permit material to be
sent outside the European Economic Area (EEA) to the authorities in the
US and elsewhere.

Her permission to do so was hidden away in an earlier “special certificate” signed by the Home Secretary on July 4.

A Home Office spokesman declined to say how many times images had been sent from London to other countries.

However,
he added: “We would like to reassure the public that robust controls
have been put in place to control and safeguard access to, and use of,
the information.”

Moron. Once you have given data away you have no control over it.

It
highlights all too well that in every case where technology has been
brought in, despite assurances that the data will only ever be used for
the purpose for which it was intended, it is being shared, not just
across government departments, but with overseas governments. These assurances are like the Labour Party Manifesto, totally worthless.

The
list is endless: Passport data, DVLA data, Driving licence data, Tax data, banking data, CCTV
data, medical record data, employment data, children's databases, fingerprint data, DNA data, all shared with other
governments. The ID Card data will also be shared. (see eID programme on eu.europa site).

All of these legislative or policy areas came with government assurances that data will not be shared or used for other purposes.
Yet no part of your life is now kept solely within the UK, nor
is it just a part of the European treaties, for this Government are exporting
everyone's personal data worldwide.

I would charge the Ministers
of this Government with Treason, along with the front bencher's of the main
opposition parties for their support of the legislation, in that they no longer view their role is to protect
the citizens of this country. Indeed I would go further and say they no
longer work for us, but they are in the employ of Foreign Governments.

Its Treason, plain and simple. By their own actions they have become the enemy of the people.

How
long before we see a UK car blown up on the M4 by a missile from an
American drone as we see in the Middle east all too often.
If it happened, this British Government would do what exactly?

But, There is another way!

The message to the other political parties is clear.
The United Kingdom, its Institutions, its Peoples, its Culture, Constitution and History are not for sale.

Your Life, Your Country, Your Choice.

This story is just the final straw for me.
