When the bungled attempt on Saturday 30th June to
attack Glasgow airport unfolded,
the stories of bravery, heroism and quick police action were quite rightly all over the press,
telling of the miracle that no-one was hurt or injured.

We have seen quite deserved stories of mutual back patting from within the
Police force, but what has not been all over the press is how the police
treated the passengers of the aircraft that had either just landed or were
waiting to take off.  Like cattle.

Bearing in mind that the incident happened at 1515 BST (BBC)

SIX passengers were
taken to hospital and another 14 needed medical treatment after being stranded
on grounded aircraft for up to 10 hours following the car bomb attack at
Glasgow Airport.

Strathclyde Police and
airport security had kept all 1,250 passengers, pilots and crew on planes which
had either just landed when the terrorists struck, or were fully boarded ready
to take-off.

All those stranded were eventually taken by bus with police escort to the SECC
in
Glasgow.

Airport staff started to offload passengers at 9.30pm, but didn’t finish till 2am, and up to 250 passengers on some jets
began to suffer with air conditioning shut down and the doors staying shut.

Two diabetics collapsed because their medication was in the baggage hold and
police were called to one holiday jet seven hours after lockdown after
“unrest” amongst passengers.

Two
.

It looks like the ‘show’ of Police activity is more
important than dealing with the public and looking after their interests.

Someone must have made specific decisions about keeping those passengers locked up, those decisions now need to be questioned and justified.

Could there be some case for false imprisonment here.

Gordon Brown is as about as weak as national leaders come
when it boils down to Europe.

He may be a big fish in the UK,
“a towering figure” as Jack Straw once described him as, but when it comes to Europe,
he is but a minnow, kowtowing to any European leader who confronts him. He
seemed decidedly tamed and cowed by finding himself inside the elite club of
European government leaders.

This was eloquently summed up yesterday by the Portuguese
Prime Minister when he said “We will have no problems with Great
Britain
in this treaty.”

Brown has capitulated in the face of the European elite who
want to kill the sovereignty of our nation, and the rest of Europe
is laughing at us.

There is an “unprecedented” obligation in the new
treaty which states that: “National parliaments shall contribute actively
to the good functioning of the Union“.

Mark Francois, the Tory spokesman on Europe,
said “This appears to oblige Parliament to work for the benefit of the
EU, if this clause is left as it is, there is a real
threat to the independence of Parliament.”

Put into plain English, that means that the UK Government
will no longer have power over the UK,
and the Westminster Parliament will be little more than a rubber stamp for EU
laws.

Blair’s ‘Red Lines’ are nothing more than Red Herrings to
trick the public of Britain. To cover his weakness Brown lies to the British people about 'the Treaty', with the blessing of the EU.

The Treaty IS a Constitution,
and we demand a referendum.

We see that the new French President Nicholas Sarkozy has
the balls to go right to the heart of Europe and make
his case, stand up for the French economy,
the French people. Because Sarkozy knows its all about the economy, he is putting France
first, Europe second, but it would appear that Brown is
too weak in Europe and frightened to do the same.

The Telegraph leader
says: “Whatever happened to the Gordon Brown who, in a previous
incarnation, attempted to persuade the British electorate that he was something
of a Euro-sceptic?” it asks. “That version of his persona seemed to
have vanished at yesterday's joint press conference with Prime Minister José
Sócrates of Portugal.”

Brown’s weakness can be seen in this
photo
, where his face is clearly telling us that he wishes he had the
strength, but he is scared and frightened.

Our epitaph will be seen by future generations as:

The UK, ah yes, it was once a proud and mighty nation of global
standing, but was given away by a weak Prime Minister known as McCaverty Brown,
a man who was never there when hard decisions needed to be made. Nothing is shameful and nothing is sacred. Everything is someone else’s
fault and everything is paid for by others. Decent, legitimate and
deserving citizens are lost in our system as we struggle to filter out
the white noise made by our disintegrating nation, as it slips into the
abyss.

Well, Shame on this man who
would sell our birthright to foreigners, but beware this mediocre post communist, for his loyalties lie only with Scotland and Europe.
