The courageous Hilary
Benn has declared
that the term ‘War on Terror’ does not reflect the terror threats that we are
apparently fighting.

He says that it
makes the various small disparate groups seem part of something bigger.

Mr Benn will say
in his speech: “In the
UK, we do not use the phrase 'War on Terror'
because we can't win by military means alone, and because this isn't us against
one organised enemy with a clear identity and a coherent set of objectives.

“It is the
vast majority of the people in the world – of all nationalities and faiths -
against a small number of loose, shifting and disparate groups.

“What these
groups want is to force their individual and narrow values on others without
dialogue, without debate, through violence. And by letting them feel part of
something bigger, we give them strength.”

I
call Hilary Benn courageous because the last British Minister to make this
claim was Robin Cook, who ended up
dead.

He said
that Al-queda only existed in a database in
Washington. Robin Cook said in an
article in The Guardian:
Al-Qaida, literally
“the database”, was originally the computer file of the thousands of
mujahideen
who were recruited and trained with help from the CIA to defeat the Russians.

He went on to
say: So long as the struggle against terrorism is conceived as a war that can
be won by military means, it is doomed to fail. The more the west emphasises
confrontation, the more it silences moderate voices in the Muslim world who
want to speak up for cooperation. Success will only come from isolating the
terrorists and denying them support, funds and recruits, which means focusing
more on our common ground with the Muslim world than on what divides us.

Within
a month of making that statement Robin Cook was dead.

As far as I know,
this was the first time publicly, in the anglophone world, that the al-Qaeda
name had been explained as referring to a computer database, and of course the Al-Qaeda name was falsely used as the reason for all the anti-terrorist laws that followed.

Questions
over Robin Cook’s death
have still not been answered, some have suggested that he was murdered, along
with David
Kelly
and John Smith in order to keep the truth from the public eye. Hugo Young's last column before he died was about David Kelly.

With
regard to John Smith, one commenter said:
John Smith attended Bilderberg as leader of the
opposition and opposed their plans for the world, he insisted on bringing a
trusted adviser (Robin Cook) along the next year to help him put his case to the plutocrats
but was dead before the next meeting.

He is said to
have had a heart attack in his flat in the Barbican centre in
London.

The ambulance
took over 30 minutes to reach him and he was only declared dead quite a time
after reaching hospital. I spoke to a friend who was at the hospital and he
told me it was the only time he'd seen journalists cry. They felt it was a
great tragedy for the nation.

This possible
assassination opened the way for blue eyed boy Blair who had been prepared for
years to take over from Smith by party insiders and apparatchiks.

Brian Gould -
Smith's right hand man and economic genius suddenly then left
Britain to take up a University Chancellorship in
New
Zealand
.

Before you
dismiss this as another conspiracy theory, consider that this is actively being
investigated by a senior MP, who is convinced that the death of all three were no
accident or natural event.

This
statement from Hilary Benn should now lead to reviews of the plethora of anti-terrorist
laws that have been imposed on the majority of law abiding citizens, and have
their rights restored.

Our
advise to Hilary Benn is:
Watch your back.

Let
us hope that somewhere in this government that is bent on subjugating its own
people, that some common sense will prevail.

Britain

Tony Blair's
government has completed its transformation into Big Brother: it is recruiting
children to spy on the adult population.

The Government has taken the children of
Britain and they are being photographed, fingerprinted, even having their
DNA taken in schools, where they are fed the
propaganda of government, about the ‘social’ needs of the many, about climate
change, taking away responsibility for sex education, encouraging single parent
families and bribing unruly elements among those being taught with iPods and
Bikes.

Many were
disturbed when Home Secretary John Reid announced earlier this month that
'talking' CCTV cameras will be introduced in 20 towns and cities across
Britain. Reminiscent of the telesecreen that so
tormented Winston Smith in Orwell's 1984,
these cameras will not only spy on us, they will tell us off, too. Even more
disturbing, however, is the fact that the Government wants goody-two-shoes
children to provide the authoritarian voice for the cameras.

Reid, together
with the Respect Taskforce, has launched a poster-making competition in
schools. The child who designs the best poster that 'challenges anti-social
behaviour' will win the prize of becoming the voice of the talking CCTV in
their town or city for one day later this year: the all-important day of
'switch on', when the cameras 'go live'.

According to the
Respect Taskforce, this is about “encouraging children to use their pester
power, in a positive way”.

This isn't the
first time the Government has harnessed the 'pester power' of the young to
reshape the behaviour of the old. Last year, a report proposed urging
schoolchildren to educate their parents about eco-living, in the hope that this
would generate a 'cultural shift' among the population.

The Department of
Health has used the children of lung cancer-stricken mums and dads in its
anti-smoking ads. As the GP and author Dr Michael Fitzpatrick said, turning
kids into an instrument of the campaign to deter adults from smoking is
“reminiscent of totalitarian regimes”.

Indeed it is. In 1984, Winston Smith hates those
“horrible children” who spy on everyone, including their parents. In
Smith's world of Big Brother and child spies, “it was almost normal for
people over 30 to be frightened of their own children” (source).

One million
migrants from outside the EU will be entitled to vote in May's local and
national elections, according to the Daily
Mail
.

The migrants from
Commonwealth countries, dependent territories and the
Republic of Ireland – none of whom are citizens here – have
gained voting rights from a law passed in 1918.

Electoral law
grants citizens from almost 50 Commonwealth countries,
British Dependent Territories and the Republic of Ireland the right to vote in local and general
elections because – in 1918 – they were classed as “British subjects”.

If they are
resident at a
UK address, they can play a key role in
deciding who wins council seats in
England, as well as control of the Scottish and
Welsh parliaments.

Around the same
number of migrants from EU countries will also be able to vote in local and
European elections, though not the General Election.

Questions
need to be raised now, as to the rules governing these migrants, such as how
long they have had to be resident. For instance can a Commonwealth migrant or an
EU national turn up to a pre-arranged address and claim voting rights and go
home the following day?.

How
many have been pre-registered on the voting register before they arrive?

Are
we going to be flooded by socialist supporters from across
Europe to tilt the balance in
marginal areas?

What
are the Electoral Commission rules on migrant voters.?

If
you see strangers arriving in your constituency, new Immigrants arriving in the
next few weeks, or an influx of EU citizens who are asking questions about the
polling stations, and have reasonable cause to suspect that they are only here
for the voting report it to the Electoral Commission, Immigration authorities,
the Police or email me.
