Is it me, is it
only me that is looking at our current government, only weeks ahead of an
election and see characters that are laid back and smug, and that feeling that
all is not right.
I see ministers
who over and over have been caught out, lying, failing to deliver, bad
decisions, and we see them shrug, and almost saying to us ‘am I bovverd?’.
When the papers are full of 'Royal' stories instead of election news I get worried.
Apart from the
occasional mention on TV or press about Gordon in Scotland, this is generally speaking a campaign
that is not happening. I have read on several blogs how people have been
noticing that there are no election posters, there are no stakes in the front
gardens, no fly posting on telegraph poles, no press campaigns, no fanfare, no message
being bellowed out from the giant advertising space next to the butcher.
Is this an
election on a shoestring. We know that NuLab are under financial constraints,
but to put up candidates is one of the things that the ruling party should be
doing, defending their position, yet four out of ten seats have no NuLab candidate.
Is it that they
know its not worth doing, that they are going to get such a hammering, and wish
to minimise the number of 3rd and 4th places, do they
genuinely not have the money to mount a campaign, or is there something else.
There is an air
of ‘the election doesn’t matter’, the smug ‘we know something you don’t’
feeling about Westminster that is troubling me, and I have to say that the
press are doing nothing to dispel that feeling for me, to the point that I am
getting that gut wrenching sensation that something is awfully wrong, like the calm before a huge storm.
We have written
before about how takeovers are undertaken, I have seen it in business many
times, and history has well documented how politicians do it. We have written
about the terror threat being used as a tool of government to scare everyone to
accept their policies, and we have spoken of the likelihood of an ‘event’ being
staged, at a key moment in time, to ensure the continuity of the present
regime.
So, be aware, be wary
of everything that is presented to you as ‘news’, and think whether it is real,
or is it part of a bigger event, some kind of propaganda. The failed propaganda
attempt at the MOD over the Iran 15 is a prime example of this government
trying to manipulate everything that you see and hear.
My guts tell me that something is wrong, something is
very, very wrong.
