The Home Office has been accused of railroading
controversial EU laws on the movement of prison inmates between member states
through Parliament. (source) 

MPs
were not given a chance to debate the plan, which will become UK law, the EU scrutiny
committee has claimed.  

Labour MP Lindsay
Hoyle accused the minister of having “total disregard” for
Parliament's right to scrutiny.

Tory MP William
Cash told Mrs Ryan it was not just a row about the process but could result in
a British national, convicted abroad, being transferred back to the UK against his will and imprisoned here for
conduct which is not criminal in this country. 

Ms Ryan said she
regretted that they had not had time to debate the legislation, before the
meeting of Justice and Home Affairs Council in Brussels in February.

She said the
process had been speeded up when Germany took over the EU presidency 

Again,
we find Germany at the centre, with this
government holding Parliament in contempt as a result.

Why
the rush, not just with this piece of legislation, but the rush to create the
European Constitution, the rush for ID cards, the rush for ePassports, the rush
for the ID cards and passports data to be shared, the rush for databases (right
across europe) for DNA, for police forces, for childrens finger
prints, for personal details, the rush to share it all, the rush for more and
more legislation to limit the rights of citizens.

When
will people realise that what Germany failed to do through force
of arms in the 1940’s, they are now doing through the UNELECTED EUROPEAN
COMMISSION. Nearly 70pct of all European Directives have been proposed either
by Germans or Belgians, and they now make up most of our UK Laws.

Update: A few more scams for the adventurous.

I don’t think
that anyone disputes the fact that Global Warming is a fact. What is in dispute
is why the Global Warming is occurring. Is it CO2 driven or is it Solar driven.
The debate is still ongoing, the jury is still out, but the Man Made Global
Warming faction seem to be in an awful hurry to get new laws and taxes in
place, and that sets alarm bells ringing.

But Al Gore gave the
game away today as the big swindle over global warming came to light, in his
heated exchange whilst giving evidence to US House and Senate panels and talked
about a “true planetary emergency” if Congress fails to act. “I know
the phrase sounds shrill, and I know it's a challenge to the moral
imagination.” He said. 

“A lot of your
recommendations are more about regulations and more taxation,” said former
House Speaker Dennis Hastert, a Republican from Illinois.

“You're not
just off a little, you're totally wrong,” said Texas Rep. Joe Barton, the
leading Republican on the House Energy and Commerce Committee, as he challenged
Gore's conclusion that carbon dioxide emissions cause rising global temperatures. 

Barton and Gore's
exchange grew testy at one point — Barton demanding that Gore get to the point.
“Global warming science is uneven and evolving,” Barton said.
 

Then the great
swindle came to light as a hurried and flustered Gore went on to say that he only
sees a limited role for nuclear power, which the Bush administration has
promoted, because the plants are expensive to build and “only come in one
size: extra large.”
 

Of course Nuclear power only has a limited role, it
would take too long to put in place, and by then the swindle would have been
rumbled.
 

Gore said he
foresees a revolution in small-scale electricity producers for replacing coal,
likening the development to what the Internet has done for the exchange of
information.
 

I wonder if Gore has any interests in these ‘small-scale
electricity producers’. Look for the new investors.!!
 

“I fully
understand that Kyoto, as a brand if you will, has been demonized,” Gore said.

Gore favours a
“cap-and-trade” program for the U.S. economy, exactly the same as he
recommended to the European Commission earlier this week, not just specific
sectors such as electricity or manufacturing, which would set an overall limit
on warming emissions but allow industry to meet the target by trading pollution
allowances.

Here’s
the rub, here’s the swindle. Its not about really reducing CO2, its about Trading
pollution allowances.  Lots and lots of
allowances, futures in allowances. Its about a trading market. 

By the
time the Man Made Global Warming theory is finally discredited and torn down, taxpayers
will have had their pockets emptied, and lots of money men will have made billions
upon billions of dollars around the world trading pollution allowances.

Is
this the biggest swindle the world has ever seen?

Minister Tony McNulty has signed Statutory Instrument 2007 No. 930 – The Serious
Organised Crime and Police Act 2005 (Designated Sites under Section 128) Order
2007 which comes into force on 1st June 2007. 

This “designates” some more
sites, under the Serious Organised Crime and
Police Act 2005 Section 128

Most
controversially this now “designates” the entire Palace of
Westminster and Portcullis House office buildings, crucially, even the formerly public access areas such the
Central Lobby or the Committee Rooms. 

It is intolerable
for any Police officer and / or the Attorney General to have the power of
arrest and prosecution on a charge which could lead to up to 51 weeks in prison
in these particular areas, threatening and chilling the democratic right of
constituents. to meet and lobby their Members of Parliament, or to listen to
the proceedings of Select Committees etc.

Now it appears that you can be arrested, on the whim of a Police officer or the instruction of a Minister of State, inside Parliament both under Section 128 and Section 132 of the Act.

Adolf Hitler did
that in 1934 to the Reichstag. Just before he arranged for Police and Gestapo
to arrest Opposition parties. (note: SOCPA does NOT exclude MP’s from its
powers).

Strangely,
the new list of 'designated areas' also now includes the Royal homes. This itself has
sinister undertones if Dictatorship is on the agenda.

Just
as Adolf Hitler had the Gestapo, a political police force, so the Home
Secretary has the SOCA. Note that unlike the Police Forces in the UK, and the Armed forces who
swear allegiance to the Crown, SOCA is responsible ONLY to the Home Secretary.

1, section 20 of the Serious and Organised Crime Agency Act 2005

20    SOCA is not to be regarded-
    (a) as the servant or agent of the Crown, or

(b) as enjoying any status, immunity
or privilege of the Crown; and SOCA's property is not to be regarded as
property of, or property held on behalf of, the Crown.

In a free society, the rights and
laws protect the individual from the government.

In a dictatorship, the rights and laws protect the government from the
people.
