This is nice work if you can get it.

I calculate based upon the various recess periods that our overpaid, overbearing, arrogant and in the main obnoxious MP's and Lords work on average about 6 months in the year.

That is of course just the term times, but even then there is little obligation on the MP's to actually turn up, and many of them just don't both even doing that.

We would suggest that they only get paid for the periods when Parliament is in session, on a pro rata basis to their current annual salaries and expenses, which would effectively cut their salaries in half.

They obviously have far too much time idle on their hands, as every year for the past 10 years they have 6 months working on the rape and subjugation of a nation, the other 6 months planning the Treason that Brown is now carrying out in Portugal.

I honestly think that the Military would do a better job. Much better value for money.
