New Year List of lost freedoms

Is it not time that one of those lists included all the freedoms and rights that we have lost because of government legislation, highlighting the changes that have occurred either by direct Acts of Parliament, the sneaky changes which have been enacted by Statutory Instruments or the powers that we believe have just been taken and are awaiting challenge. more »

New restrictive regulations on freedom of information

It would appear that the Department for Constitutional Affairs is attempting to pull a fast one and introduce new, more restrictive regulations on freedom of information, with changes to the Freedom of Information Act and the Data Protection Act, and slip it in whilst MP’s are away on their Easter break. more »
